Artist Statement :
Title - Converging Shadows : A Nocturnal Tapestry Of Dual Identities

My poster embodies the nocturnal convergence of contrasting personas within me. A Japanese fan, adorned with cherry blossoms, symbolizes the harmony and discord of my multifaceted identity. The red moon and shrine signify my vibrant gaming alter ego, while the fox tail represents my connection to a digital universe.

Central to the piece is a hybrid game character portrayal of myself merged with a fox head, wearing a traditional Japanese mask, bridging human and fantastical worlds. The red and pink hues echo my gaming character against a dark backdrop, inviting viewers into a world where my dual personas coexist, blending artistry, gaming, and the allure of the night.

REFLECTION

In my digital photography and imaging course, I ventured into a world of creative exploration through four captivating projects.

The digital collage design project introduced me to storytelling through layers of imagery, challenging me to weave narratives from disparate elements.

Photoshopping myself seamlessly into Hearst Mansion was a thrilling test of blending reality and imagination, transcending physical boundaries within a captured moment.

Recoloring a black and white image revived history with vibrant hues, showcasing the transformative power of color in reshaping perceptions.

Crafting a double exposure of myself and diving into photo manipulation pushed the boundaries of reality, merging separate entities into surreal visual tales.

Lastly, the self-titled animated poster encapsulated everything I'd learned—melding technical skill with artistic vision, infusing life into a static image through animation.

These projects were more than assignments; they were gateways into a realm where imagination meets technique, unveiling the boundless possibilities within digital imaging and storytelling through visuals
